Review:
All 15 extended family members went and enjoyed an evening of mini golf surrounded by thousands of mini lights. We had a wide range of seriousness, from kids who wacked the ball without warning, to adults taking the game very, very seriously. Sadly, Mr Mountaineer is one of them.
We called ahead and booked a group rate, which saved us a few dollars but didn’t keep us from waiting in line to get in or a reserved spot on the course. Still, we arrived when it opened so we were able to play without too much of a crowd. We really enjoyed the courses, with different themes and obstacles. We split into 3 groups to play The Lost Continent and finished all 18 holes in about 1.5 hours total.
14 out of 15 of us LOVED the volcano that would spew fire into the air without warning, but we did not expect our 3 year old to be totally and completely terrified by it. She spent the entire time buried into someone’s arm, anticipating the next eruption. Now that we know, we would choose a different course to play, maybe Buccaneer Bay or Adventure Cove. In the end, we had a lot of laughs and it was a fun way to spend an evening with extended family around the holidays. Still open til Jan 5th!
